This year we set the goal of creating a chapter of the e-nable organisation here at Waimea to be able to print 3d prosthetic hands for those in need. In order to be able to become a recognised chapter we had to submit a printed design for consideration.
If we met the standard for assembly and fabrication we would be able to make these for those who had a need.
Yesterday we found that we had made the criteria and Jacob has gained a fabricator and assembler badges. He is currently passing his knowledge onto year nine students so they can gain theirs. One step closer to becoming the only New Zealand chapter of the e-nable group!
